Terry Anderson, Judith & Henry Lee Carter and Elizabeth & Jim Donovan hosted a fundraiser for Ben Hixon’s run for the 30th HOD district last Thursday at the Donovan’s home in Lake of the Woods. A number of Democrats gathered to share the excellent fare our hosts had provided and to hear Ben speak!
The University Democrats – a student organization – will be hosting a debate between Ralph Northam and Tom Perriello. Event details have yet to be announced, but we’ll update this as more information becomes available.
Tom Perriello has announced that he’s challenging Ralph Northam for the Democratic nomination in this year’s race for the governor’s mansion. The primary will be held on June 13, 2017.
