The Orange County Democratic Committee will hold a reorganization caucus and elect officers at its next meeting, December 14, Saturday. The doors open at committee headquarters, 111 Chapman St., at 9:30. Coffee and donuts will be available. Business begins at 10 a.m., with the caucus voting starting at 10:30.
In addition, DCCC Field Manager Kayla Enoch will speak on the past
and next elections. The meeting is open to the public.
As a committee sending delegates to the 7th CD convention in Richmond, we are required to publicly post a copy of the rules. You may download a copy of the Rules seventh cd 2017 convention 4.12.17-1.

Calling the 2017 Seventh District Democratic Convention
By the Seventh District Democratic Committee at its meeting of February 13, 2017, that:
I. Call to Convention
Pursuant to the authority vested in this Committee by the Virginia Democratic Party Plan (State Party Plan) the Seventh District Democratic Committee (7th District Committee) hereby calls a District Convention to convene at 11:00 A.M., on May 6, 2017 at 919 East Main St, Richmond, Virginia 23219.
This District Convention shall:
Nominate twenty (20) persons, ten (10) men and ten (10) women to serve as the 7th Congressional District Democratic Committee and serve on the Democratic Party of Virginia’s State Central Committee starting June 17, 2017 until June, 2021 when a new district committee is elected.

Whereas it is the duty of the Orange County Democratic Committee to issue the Call to Caucus for the purpose of electing delegates to the 2017 30th House of Delegates District Democratic Convention which will be held on the 29th day of April in 2017, beginning at 10 am, in the Culpeper County Democratic Committee Head Quarters located at 102 North Main Street, Culpeper, VA. 22701, on the second floor.
